Paola Romagnani

Paola Romagnani is Full Professor, Chair of Nephrology and Head of the Nephrology and Dialysis Unit at the University Children’s Hospital Anna Meyer, Florence. In 1999 she was awarded The Hoechst Marion Roussel Award as best young Italian scientist. In 2007, she has won the ERC Starting Grant Young Investigator Award. During the years 2014-2019, she was member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the EDTA. In 2015, she has won the ERC Consolidator Grant Investigator Award. In 2020 she won the the ERA-EDTA International Award for outstanding contributions to basic Research in Nephrology. She has published 190 papers with an H-index of 75. Her studies received over 19000 citations
