Pietro Manuel Ferraro MD MSc PhD is an Associate Professor of Nephrology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, Italy. He graduated in 2005 and after specializing in Nephrology obtained a MSc in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a PhD in Endocrinology.

His main fields of interest are the epidemiology and metabolic aspects of nephrolithiasis, nutrition, electrolyte disorders, chronic kidney disease, genetic tubulopathies.
