Juan Chain is a motivated Nephrological Nurse working in Nephropediatric Ward in Virgen del Rocio University Hospital. He received his Diploma in Nursing in 1996 and has been working in renal area since this year. His first research paper was awarded with a Scholarship by EDTNA/ERCA, in 2002. The national nephrological nursing association (SEDEN) recognised his effort with others three National scholarships in different years since 2004.

Since 2003 until 2006 he developed his role as Spanish Key Member in EDTNA/ERCA, helping to his colleagues during this period.

In 2010 was enrolled to his current work, introducing himself training to Renal Paediatric area, performing different courses and protocols to get up to date (firstly as a student and then as a teacher) and supporting his workmates as a proper team worker.

Last 4 years you can find him too as part of the teacher team of Master of Science to Renal Nurses by Seville University (Health Sciences School).
