I am a pediatric nephrologist since 1994 at the Amsterdam UMC ( former AMC), married, 4 children and one grandchild. My fields of interest and research are Primary Hyperoxaluria (currently chairman of the steering committee of Oxaleurope) and chronic kidney disease (epidemiology, CKD-MBD, neurocognitive complications, quality of care, quality of life and late outcome of end-stage kidney disease). Previously, I have been active as coordinator and designer of the Master of the Medical school at the University of Amsterdam.
