The Section of Pediatric Nephrology is a part of the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Nephrology and Metabolic Disorders of the Charité, Berlin Germany. The Department covers the greater berlin area with a population of around 5.0 mio, but also serves patients from all over the world. The department covers the full range of pediatric nephrology expertise including all forms of dialysis and kidney and combined transplantation. There is a longstanding strong collaboration with the department of adult Nephrology covering all aspects transitional medicine.
