Michiel Schreuder is associate professor Pediatric Nephrology at the Radboudumc Amalia Children’s Hospital in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He combines clinical work with research to optimize treatment for children with renal disorders through basic and translational studies and clinical trials.
His main research topics are normal and abnormal kidney development, and the nephrotic syndrome. The interaction between the kidney and drugs is one of his interests, ranging from the effect of drugs on kidney development, to dosing recommendations in kidney failure.
His clinical expertise is in congenital anomalies, nephrotic syndrome, and all causes of urolithiasis.
