What is the European Reference Network?
European Reference Networks (ERNs) are networks of centres of expertise, healthcare providers and laboratories which are organised across borders.
The 24 networks aim to generate and disseminate knowledge on rare and complex diseases, and to provide the best possible care to patients in all European countries.
