Waterbus to San Servolo Island
To ensure smooth and convenient travel, we recommend utilizing waterbusses from either San Zaccaria or Zattere, depending on where you are travelling and if you chose to stay at an alternative hotel. These waterbusses operate on a scheduled basis, and we have provided a detailed map displaying all available lines and their respective ride times.
Key Details:
- First Ride: The first waterbus to San Servolo departs from San Zaccaria at 6:55 AM
- Last Ride: The last waterbus from San Zaccaria to San Servolo is scheduled for 0:30 AM

From Marco Polo Airport
per water connection
There is a waterbus available from Marco Polo airport to "Saint Mark" dock (travel time approximately 40 minutes)
From Saint Mark's Square it is a quick 4 Minute walk to the dock "S. Zaccaria", from which the waterbus line 20 departs regulary to San Servolo.
per land connection
Two bus lines shuttle from the airport to the station "Piazzale Roma" VENEZIA. Either Bus Line 5, which has multiple stops between the two stations, or the direct ATVO shuttle.
From "Piazzale Roma" there are a multitude of options to get to the "S. Zaccaria" dock. Please refer to the ACTV waterborne route website for more information and timetables

From Venice train station "Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia"
The ACTV public water taxis depart regularly from one of the four "Ferrovia" docks located directly by the central railway station.
The lines 1, 2, 4.1 and 5.1 all stop at one of the "San Zaccaria" waterbus stops. Line 2 stops at the same dock that Line 20 to San Servolo departs from while the other three lines stop at docks that are closeby.

From public parking
If you plan to arrive via car, you will have to park right after entering Venice or on the mainland before entering Venice. There are multiple parking garages in Venice, the closest one to the docks being "San Marco". Although this parking garage has the greatest geopraphical convenience, it is also the most expensive one.
Alternatively you can either park at the "Marco Polo" airport and follow the travel instructions listed above or at the "Terminal Fusina Venezia" in Fusina and take the waterbus line 16 to the stop "Zattere", from which you can take a multitude of waterbus connections to "S. Zaccaria". Make sure you book your parking ticket ahead of time online, to reduce costs and ensure spot availability.
