Description |
The University Hospital Oslo and Institute of Clinical Medicine serves as a local hospital for pediatric nephrology but also as a referral centre for patients from the whole country, thereby covering the entire spectrum of nephrological diagnoses. The main focus is on transplantation as the hospital is the National Transplant Centre. Dialysis (hemo/PD/CRRT) is performed in collaboration with the adult unit. The departments of pathology, radiology, immunology, adult nephrology and transplantation medicine are mainly involved as co-partners in the evaluation, treatment and patient follow-up. |
