Dr. Nina Olas Kar is a Senior Pediatric specialist registrar at the Pediatric Clinic, University Medical Centre Ljubljana. She received her M.D. in 2016 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana and is interested to become a pediatric nephrologist.  In her student years, dr. Olas Kar received the student's Prešeren award for her academic research. After finishing her degree, she underwent additional training in post-operative intensive care after cardiovascular procedures in children with congenital heart diseases and end-of-life medicine.
