Izabella Kuźmiuk-Glembin

Dr Izabella Kuźmiuk-Glembin is an assistant in the Department of Nephrology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases of Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland) and University Medical Centre in Gdańsk. She received her M.D. in 2015 and PhD in medicine in 2022 at Medical University of Gdańsk. She is participating in the Clinical Scholars Research Training program at Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts) Postgraduate Medical Education in the field of clinical research. Her research interests include kidney transplantation, hypertension and cardiovascular risk in chronic kidney disease patients, tuberous sclerosis complex and thrombotic microangiopathies. She is an internal disease specialist.

Dr Kuźmiuk-Glembin is a member of several scientific societies: Polish Nephrology and Transplantology Society and European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association. She won several national and international awards e.g. 2022 ERA-EDTA National Society of Nephrology Grant for Poland.

Dr Kuźmiuk-Glembin is an author of many scientific articles and book chapters. To date her H-index is 4 with IF more than 46.

She has a special interest in rare diseases such as tuberous sclerosis complex and atypical haemolytic uremic syndrome.
