Molecular Diagnostics

The Taskforce consists of clinical geneticists and clinicians with a special interest in nephrogenetics. The group provides advice to the ERKNet workgroups regarding indications and preferred technologies for genetic and other molecular diagnostics in patients undergoing evaluation for kidney diseases.

The Taskforce specialists are available as "virtual" consultants for cases submitted to the CPMS.

Members of the group are working on a consensus document for nephrogenetic diagnostics in children with suspected hereditary kidney diseases.
