Description

The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital (integrated children and adult hospital) serves as a tertiary referral centre for pediatric nephrology. We cover the entire spectrum of nephrological diagnoses in close corporation with all relevant pediatric and adult experts especially adult nephrologists, pediatric surgeons, obstetricians, and geneticists. Renal biopsy, transplantation, and dialysis are performed in collaboration with the adult unit. We are privileged that Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital provides, on a highly specialized level, services within pathology, radiology, clinical physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, immunology, and metabolic expertise.
