The Pediatric Nephrology service is the largest unit for children's rare kidney diseases in Sweden. Our multidisciplary team offers full medical and psychosocial services for children of all ages. We have clinical focus on pediatric acute, chronic and end-stage renal disease, treating children in all CKD stages including dialysis and kidney transplantation. We provide acute renal replacement therapy up to adolescent age and is accessible 24/7 on consultation basis. In addition, our neonatal intensive care unit focuses on metabolic and renal diseases and offers peritoneal dialysis to even very young and premature children. | ||||||||||||||||
