I am Pediatrician and Nephrologist and during the past 3 decades I have dealt with all the major aspects of pediatric nephrology with particular interest in:

Neonatal Nephrology, Prenatal Counselling (for congenital nephropaties), acute and chronic renal insufficiency on conservative treatment and on renal replacement therapy (with both dialysis and transplantation), plasmaexchange in children and  hypertension.

During the last decade I have focussed my professional activity on the prevention and management of hemolytic uremic syndrome both STEC related and Atypical.
