Marco Castagnetti

Prof. Marco Castagnetti received his medical degree from the University of Palermo, Palermo, Italy. He completed his specialist training in Pediatric Urology, at Gaslini Children Hospital, University of Genova, Genoa, Italy. In 2008, he was employed as a consultant at the University Hospital of Padova, Padua, Italy and in 2016 was appointed as Associate Professor at the University of Padova, Padua, Italy. In 2021, he moved to the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome where he was appointed Head of the Pediatric Urology Division. Since 2025, he is Associate Professor at the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Rome.

He currently holds the position of Chair of the Pediatric Urology Division. His primary research interests lie in major reconstructions of the lower urinary tract and genital reconstruction in males and females.
