Dr. Jeroen R. Scheepe is a pediatric urologist at the Sophia Children Hospital at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam. He received his M.D. in 1994 at the Free University of Brussels. After his study he was a research fellow of the “Alexander von Humboldt Foundation” and did research on functional urology at the Department of Urology and Neurourological Laboratory, Academic Hospital Mannheim. After finishing his residency at the Medical Faculty Mannheim of the Heidelberg University and in 2000 he became a staff member at the Department of Urology at the Erasmus MC. In 2009 dr. Scheepe was appointed to the position of Associate Professor in urology at the Medical Faculty Mannheim of the Heidelberg University. Since 2018 he is the Programme Director Urology Training for de south-west of The Netherlands. Dr.  Scheepe has a special interest in neuro-urology in children and adults and on congenital malformations of the urinary tract. His publication record encompasses more than 70 scientific articles and he received several national and international research awards.
