Dr. Mahdi Salih is an internist-nephrologist and clinician-scientists at the Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He received his M.D. in 2010 and his PhD on urinary extracellular vesicles and ADPKD in 2017 at the same university. He has a track record in translational research. His main research focus is on ADPKD, hypertension, biomarker research and extracellular vesicles. In his clinical work, he leads the PKD clinic, a post-transplantation clinic and is the nephrologist expert on methylmalonic acidemia.
