Brigitte Llanas (MD 1991) is Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at Bordeaux University Hospital, France. She is a former Pediatric Intensivist and has long been head of the Pediatric Emergency Department and has run the first Mobile pediatric intensive care unit of Bordeaux. She then moved to Pediatric Nephrology 18 years ago and now has a huge number of patients under care in her outpatient clinic. Her main areas of interest are CAKUT, cystic diseases, prenatal diagnostic and counselling, as well as enuresis and bladder dysfunction. She is the former lead of the Rare Kidney Disease Reference Center (SORARE). Brigitte has great administrative skills and duties being currently the Head of the Children’s Hospital (“chef de pole”) and member of the medical commission of the full Bordeaux Hospital.
