Prof. Dr. med. Janina Müller-Deile, MHBA is W2 Professor, Senior Physician, and Research Group Leader at the Department of Medicine 4 – Nephrology, University Hospital Erlangen (UKER), Faculty of Medicine, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
She studied Human Medicine at Hannover Medical School (MHH) from 2005 to 2012, where she also completed her doctoral dissertation (Dr. med.) between 2008 and 2012. She received her medical license (Approbation) in 2012, became a board-certified Specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 2018, and obtained additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine (2016). In 2019, she completed her habilitation in Nephrology at MHH.
Her professional career includes roles as Consultant (2018–2019), Senior Physician (since 2019), and Research Group Leader (since 2019) at Medicine 4, UKER, FAU. She was appointed W2 Professor (tenure track) in 2020 and completed a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) at FAU in 2022. She also participated in the ERKNet Postgraduate Curriculum (2021–2023).
