Dr. Oscar Toldos earned his degree in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2005 and completed his specialization in Anatomic Pathology at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in 2010. In 2009, he obtained the Advanced Studies Diploma (PhD program) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a research project on the prognostic value of ERCC1 immunohistochemical expression in non-small cell lung carcinoma.
Since May 2010, he has been working as an Anatomic Pathologist at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, with particular expertise in neuropathology and nephropathology. He has been actively involved in residency training, serving as Resident Tutor since 2012 and contributing to pathology education and resident formation since 2010.
His academic roles include extensive teaching experience at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he worked as a Collaborative Professor in Anatomic Pathology (2011–2019) and has been serving as Associate Professor of Medicine since 2019.
