Dr. Friederike Petzold is senior clinical expert in the adult Nephrology Division at Medical clinic III, Division of nephrology at University Hospital of Leipzig. After postdoctoral fellowships at Institute Imagine (Paris, France) and Charité Berlin, she is now leading the nephrogenetic research group that aims at unraveling the genetic basis of hereditary kidney diseases.
