Adria Tinoco is a medical doctor specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology with a strong interest in genetic and immunological kidney diseases.
She is actively involved in various research projects focused on hereditary renal disorders at the Research Institute of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and the Fundació Puigvert
Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Medicine with a research project aimed at improving the understanding of reproductive aspects in women affected by Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). Her work seeks to address an underexplored area of nephrology, contributing to more personalized and gender-specific care for women living with this condition. She is a member of the Spanish Society of Nephrology (S.E.N.) and the European Renal Association (ERA), actively engaging with the nephrology community at both the national and international levels.
