I am a clinical laboratory biologist at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, where I work in the field of genetics since 2022. I hold a BSc in Biology (2017), an MSc in Genetics and Genomics (2018), and a PhD in Human Genetics (2023) from the University of Barcelona, as well as an MSc in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (2023) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. My PhD thesis was mainly focused on Rett syndrome and neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular interest in applying genomic and multi-omics approaches to improve diagnosis of these and potentially many other genetic diseases. I have co-authored several scientific publications and participated in national and international research projects, including a research stay at the Helmholtz Zentrum München in Germany during my PhD.
