Dr. Irene Martin Capon (born July 25, 1993) is a Specialist in Nephrology at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, where she has worked since 2022.

She completed her residency in Nephrology at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal (2018–2022) and undertook a clinical observership at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge in 2021.

She graduated in Medicine from the University of Alcalá in 2017 and obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Reasoning and Practice (2018). She later completed a specialization in Clinical Research Methodology for Residents (2021) and an online Master’s degree in Renal Pathology from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2024). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedicine and Health Sciences at the University of Alcalá, expected in 2025.

Her main areas of interest include renal pathology, clinical nephrology, and research methodology.
