Djalila Mekahli is mainly involved in cystic renal diseases and ciliopathies. She is already active in the ARegPKD and PREDICT studies as central coordinator for Belgium. She initiated recently the ADPedKD registry together with Max Liebau and Franz Schaefer (www.ADPedKD.org). Her research is focused on molecular profiling of early stage autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) cellular models.
