Pierluigi Marzuillo, MD PhD, is presently working at Pediatric Department of Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”in the nephrology and urology unit.  Dr. Marzuillo graduated in Medicine cum laude in July 2008 and specialized in Pediatrics cum laude in June 2014. He has finished in December 2017 his doctorate course in translational medicine at Università degi Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. Previously, his clinical and scientific interests were in the field of pediatric obesity and endocrinology, but in the last 4 years his interests shifted to the field of pediatric nephrology and urology.

His clinical expertise is in the field of congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract and their complications. He has also interest for nephrogenic diabetes insipidus and other tubular diseases, glomerulopathies, and nephro-urolithiasis
