1986: degree in Medicine and Surgery. Specialist in Nephrology and in Pediatrics. Volunteer and fellow at the Nephrology Unit in IRCCS G. Gaslini (Genova – Italia) since 1989, therefore structured therein by 1991 (specific areas of interest: congenital anomalies of kidney and urinary tract, kidney and urinary tract ultrasonography/color-power Doppler/intravesical and intravenous CEUS, hypertension in children, disorders of urinary continence).

Referent for ultrasound diagnostics of congenital nephro-uropathies and medical or surgical complications in transplanted kidneys.

Regional representative of the Italian Society of ultrasonography in medicine and biology.
