Dr. Andrea Cappoli is Consultant of Pediatric Nephrology and works in the Dialysis and Transplant Unit at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, Rome, Italy. He completed his MD and nephrology residency at the University of Rome.

Andrea is a member of the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN), the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ESPN) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).

His areas of interest include acute kidney injury, renal replacement therapy, chronic kidney disease and mineral bone disease.

He has participated in numerous clinical trials as PI or collaborator.
