Carmen López is a consultant in the Pediatric Nephrology Unit at Virgen del Rocío Children’s Hospital in Seville, Spain.
She received her medical degree in 2014 from the University of Seville and completed her specialist training in Pediatric Nephrology at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital and La Paz University Hospital in Madrid.

Her clinical and research interests focus on pediatric transplantation, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and dialysis.

Dr. López is an active member of two European Reference Networks: ERKNet (European Reference Network for Rare Kidney Diseases) and TransplantChild (European Reference Network for Transplantation in Children). She has authored 10  publications in scientific journals  and contributed to 7 book chapters.
