She is a Professor of Nephrology and Hospital Practitioner, currently serving as the Head of the Nephrology, Dialysis, and Transplantation Unit at Hôpital Pellegrin, CHU de Bordeaux, and more recently at the Centre Hospitalier Agen Nérac.
She completed her medical studies at the University of Bordeaux II Victor Segalen, where she also trained as an Internal Medicine and Nephrology Resident. Her academic background includes multiple advanced degrees, such as a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology, a PhD in Life and Health Sciences focused on the protein IQGAP1 in podocytes, and a Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR) from the University of Bordeaux.
Over the years, she has held various academic and hospital positions, including Clinical Chief, Research Fellow at the Academic Renal Unit, University of Bristol (UK), and Assistant Practitioner at INSERM U1026 in Bordeaux.
Her clinical expertise lies in renal transplantation, dialysis, and chronic kidney disease, while her research interests focus on molecular mechanisms of glomerular diseases. She is also actively involved in university teaching, serving as the Head of the Practical Semiology Unit at the University of Bordeaux and supervising doctoral and clinical training programs.
