Dr.  Salazar is a pediatrician working in the Pediatric Nephrology Department at Unidade Local de Saúde de Santo António since March 2025. He completed his Pediatrics Residency at the same institution between 2020 and 2024, graduating with a final mark of 19.88, after his initial General Residency at Centro Hospitalar de Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho. He currently serves as the Coordinator of the Acute Kidney Injury Group of the Portuguese Society of Pediatric Nephrology and is an active member of GIP – Grupo de Internos de Pediatria.
