Dr. Marco Busutti is an expert in pediatric nephrology with a strong focus on research and treatment of kidney diseases in children. 

He earned his MD in 2013 at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, followed by specialization in Nephrology in 2018 and PhD in Cardio-Nephrothoracic Sciences in 2021. 

Dr. Busutti's primary research interest lies in kidney transplantation and the management of pediatric patients with chronic kidney disease. 

He has participated in multicenter studies and international projects, aiming to improve the outcomes of kidney transplantation in children. With over 30 scientific publications, his work primarily focuses on transplant immunology, disease progression, and innovative treatment strategies with the aim of impact clinical practices in pediatric nephrology.
