Mathilde Grapin

She has been working as a Pediatric Nephrologist (Praticien Hospitalier) in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology under Prof. Boyer at Hôpital Necker since July 2025. From November 2023 to July 2025, she served as Praticien Hospitalier contractuel in the same department under Prof. Salomon, after being awarded the PH national competition in 2023. Between November 2022 and November 2023, she worked as a PHc in Pediatric Medical-Surgical Intensive Care under Prof. Renolleau at Hôpital Necker, where she had also undertaken senior on-call duties since January 2022.

Previously, from November 2020 to November 2022, she was Cheffe de clinique assistante in Pediatric Nephrology at Hôpital Necker with Prof. Salomon. In 2020, she completed a Master 2 internship at Inserm U1151 in the laboratory of Dr. Fabiola Terzi, focusing on the role of YAP and TAZ in chronic kidney disease. During her residency, she gained broad experience through rotations in pediatric intensive care (Prof. Renolleau), pediatric endocrinology (Prof. Linglart, Bicêtre), pediatric neurology (Prof. Billette de Villemeur, Trousseau), pediatric nephrology (Prof. Salomon, Necker), pediatric oncology (Dr. Orbach, Institut Curie), pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition (Prof. Goulet, Necker), general pediatrics (Prof. De Pontual, Jean Verdier), and neonatal intensive care (Dr. Dassieu, CHI Créteil).

She completed her DES in Pediatrics at Université Paris 6 (2015–2020), ranking 203rd out of 8,878 candidates in the Épreuves Classantes Nationales (2015). She also earned a Master 2 in Epithelial Interface Structures (Université Paris Diderot, 2019/2020), the Inter-University Diploma in Pediatric Nephrology (Université Paris Descartes, 2019/2020), and the Inter-University Diploma in Pediatric Emergencies and Intensive Care (Université de Lille, 2023).

Earlier in her academic career, she was a tutor in biochemistry and history of medicine at the Faculty of Pierre and Marie Curie (2010–2011), authored exam preparation materials in cell biology, and completed her externship (2011–2015) at Université Paris 6.

Her professional and academic background reflects strong expertise in pediatric nephrology, intensive care, and translational research in chronic kidney disease.
