Pediatric nephrology unit

Description

The pediatric nephrology unit of Montpellier University Hospital belongs to the Southwest France rare kidney disease reference center (SORARE), taking care of patients with rare kidney diseases, from the prenatal period to adulthood and providing the whole spectrum of acute and chronic kidney replacement therapies. Patient care is provided by a multidisciplinary team with pediatric nephologists, urologists, intensivists, pathologists, as well as a psychologist, a dietitian, specialized nurses and a social worker. Our team is involved in several national and international clinical trials and registries, especially in the fields of nephrotic syndrome, atypical HUS, cystic diseases and tubulopathies.
